</p><p>As much as I love these suggested characters, I feel that the next Red Dead Redemption should take place before the blackwater fiasco and the event that led to RDR2. Playing perhaps as one of the characters who died like Mac Callender or better a new character introduced like Arthur was. </p><p>
</p><p>The story would follow the gang prior to that last botched heist which led to their eventual demise and take place when the gang is even more powerful and at the top of their time.</p>

<p>It would make sense for it to be Jack if it was going to continue the story after red dead 1 but I would love to see some form of story playing as Charles (even if it's DLC) but I agree with PWn WinterFell. </p><p>

<p>I’d be happy with younger versions of Micah, Dutch or Arthur. Charles would be ok, just not Sadie PLEASE. I don’t know why so many people think that she is a good, well written character and/or get hard for her</p>

<p>Young Micah would be my preference</p>

<p>Either someone new and exclude things related to the Van der Linde Gang (So the next Red Dead wouldn't be another Redemption). Or...</p><p>
