Mac and Davey Callander, they are of Scottish decent. Two former gunmen of the Van Der Linde gang who died after the Blackwater Massacare. We don’t know much about the pair, but from what we have heard, they were vicious outlaws and a liability. But none the less they were liked by most of the gang. Except for Lenny and Charles, I doubt they held racial prejudices considering Javier didn’t have any problems with them. Davey was a excellent poker player and Mac was a brawler, now i’m not sure if Uncle was lying or not but he claims that he witnessed Mac once beat up fifteen sailors. And from what we’ve heard from Lenny and Bill, Davey was dangerous fool and Mac was a heartless bastard(who had a heart). I believe the brothers took a liking to little Jack and John as well, since they all are of Scottish decent. It would be great if they added these two into Red Dead Online as strangers! or if Rockstar decides to do a Blackwater DLC where you play as Mac or Davey.

I have thought of the same thing, it would be great to see these people, maybe just in west elizebeth or maybe they got lost like Sean (in the Online) and got into new Austin
<p>I agree, it would be nice to see the Callander brothers in some form, perhaps in a DLC. Micah describes Davey as “a real fighter”, which is interesting because Micah doesn’t praise anyone else’s combat skills except for Arthur, suggesting that Davey’s ability with a gun was highly adept. As for Mac, we know less about him, although various comments suggest that he was mainly known as a brawler.</p><p>
</p><p>As for their relationship with the gang, I don’t think they would like John and Jack purely on the basis that they also “Scottish”.</p><p>1) The Callander brothers wouldn’t necessarily be Scottish - they may only have one Scottish ancestor (possibly) and may have very little connection with, or even awareness of, Scotland.</p><p>2) John may not have talked to them about his (partial) “Scottish” heritage.</p><p>3) Perhaps most importantly of all, I don’t think that just because John is supposedly the same nationality as them, they would necessarily think more highly of him than others in the gang. Think of Sean and Molly, for example; both are Irish, and yet they appear to dislike each other.</p><p>

I think the reason Sean and Molly didn't get along was because they were from different parts of Ireland, or maybe Molly was brought up in a rich family.

<p>To reply to Beanmeister813’s comment - it doesn’t matter why they don’t get on, only that they don’t get on. I used these two as an example to explain how the Callander brothers wouldn’t necessarily like John more than others in the gang purely on the basis that his ancestors come from the same place. Sean and Molly exemplify this. I’m not saying that the Callander brothers would necessarily dislike John, but rather I think they really wouldn’t care whatsoever about them both being from Scotland in some form.</p><p>
