Where can I find them because I saw a person hanged and I shout the rope and they started running towards me and I ended up murdering them in a defensive manner because I didn't want to die

<p>They can only be found in Bayou Nwa afaik. Also, they are much more common at night, so I’d suggest looking then (in Bayou Nwa) if you want to find them.</p><p>

Yes, right around the bayou at night. They will usually try to lure you in with the hanged body or the crying “woman” but I’ve also noticed that their firelight is different. It’s more red than yellow and you can see it pretty easy through the dark. So a good general rule is to investigate torch light at night that doesn’t move (because those are wagons). I saw this light once and noticed how different it was so I investigated and found a couple of them loading or unloading dismembered people and a horse from a wagon.

I did encounter them in the day but that was in the evening but I think I made them scared of me or something because they don't really mess with me or something
