Why do you think it would be a good title? Would the game be about getting revenge? If so, that would deviate from the other Redemption games’ motto of revenge being a fool’s game.

Revenge is a common motive in western movies and series, so why not?

That was actually one of my guesses for what RDR2 was going to be called. Revolver, Redemption, it was evident by that point that Rockstar was going with R-words for the titles. So I was thinking Revenge, Revolution, any other words that felt like they could be used for a western. But ultimately we just got Redemption II. Maybe the next installment will use a different word.

The way that I see it redemption is the name of the marston series and red dead is just the name of the universe so if you change the last r word it becomes a new story that you follow. But if it were to follow a new cast of characters that would be a good name.
