RDR1 Remake | Fandom

I heard a rumor that Rockstar would be remaking RDR1 with potential expansions to the original story. I think this would be a good move especially since they already have New Austin recreated and included in RDR2. If Rockstar did remake the original what additional material would you like them to include and what story plots and/or characters from RDR1 would you like to see more fleshed out?

I would be interested to see more backstory of captain De Santa. How did he become the right hand man of Allende? Why does he serve so vehemently when he is also abused by Allende?

Also, why did the Mexican government take in two wanted US criminals? It seems like they were looking for trouble.

Finally, more contact with other chapter 1 characters, such as Seth and Irish. It is a shame to never see them again after going to Mexico
