Charles is just such a dope character and I feel like they missed out on his development and making him into even more of a badass. Let me know what you guys think of Charles.

Yeah I agree he’s character and story should have been more fleshed out
Yes, they could've gave him more to do besides helping Arthur and John.
I agree to the man is a red dead legend
I felt that Javier and Charles are the two gang members who should play a big role but don’t really have much to do in the story. They just exist to help out occasionally from the background. Charles should have gotten more time and character development in Chapter 6 with the Wapiti tribe. And I wish Javier had more to do in general.
Yeah you’re right man I’ll be honest I forgot all about Javier since he has so little to do the poor guy the only character development I see him get is in a few conversations around camp I wish he had more of a story as well
^^^^ yeah. As I’ve no doubt said several times, this is the problem with having too many gang members. Many of them are pointless and didn’t need to be in the game, merely acting as fillers. If, perhaps, they cut out Swanson, Mary-Beth, Tilly, Susan and moved Uncle to being in the epilogue only, there wouldn’t be so much dead weight in the gang and, inevitably, we could spend more time with characters like Javier and Charles.
Charles was one of my favourite characters in the gang due to how nice he is, his unique weaponry and attitudes, and his physical prowess. He’s not an elite gunman like other members and, for that reason, I would not want him as a protagonist, but he’s still a great character in my opinion and I would’ve been happy to see him more.
No i really wish they could explore Charles Life post Red Dead Redemption 2 i think it would be great to explore Canada with Charles
^^ I think that was the whole point in having a lot of gang members. Not having to focus so much on them, making them to prominent.
He reminds me of Connor from Assassin's Creed III only he's more awesome as he is amazing in combat, hunting and is an deadly with any weapon but sadly very reserved
I felt like Javier and Bill needed the most development and screen time. They had such a prominent presence in RDR1, but RDR2 reduced them to very minor roles in the story. Based off of dialogue in the first game, I always thought that Bill and Dutch were a lot closer since everyone who John knew from the gang (including Uncle) referred to them in the same sentence, implying that they had a much deeper partnership. Like Bill was his second in command or something like that.
What do you think?
