In my opinion, the funnest stranger mission had to be The Noblest of Men, and a Woman just for the fact that you get to take down and meet some of the most famous gunslingers in the Red Dead Universe.

I would say “The Noblest of Men, and a Woman“ is the most fun because of the duels. However, my favourite story is probably “The Wisdom of the Elders”.

I absolutely adore Arcadia for Amateurs. It's just a light-hearted story of a friendship between a fool and an expert. Just a personal favorite.

I liked the Veteran missions. You get Buell afterwards. It's also very cool mission. You can participate in many activities. And do stuff.
