What if, Dutch decided to shoot Micah following his bloody fight with a dying Arthur when Micah tried to persuade Dutch that Arthur has turned crazy and against him. What would have happened then?
Then John, Charles, and Sadie wouldn't have sought vengeance against Micah, Ross and Fordham wouldn't have found his frozen corpse, and may have never found John. Therefore, if Dutch had killed Micah then and there, John would still be alive.
