Since the beginning of the game I was hoping and even half expecting Arthur to eventually steal the Blackwater money and just run off with Mary. That would be my best ending, no Tuberculosis, no revenge, no fucking Dutch and Micah. Just Mary and Arthur running away from it all like John and Abigail should have.

When she wrote the break up letter I was literally heart broken and realized that Arthur for sure would die in this gang.

Personally I think him dying with John would’ve been a much better conclusion, because he’d share the killing of Dutch with John. Plus I think it’s a lot more wholesome in a way.

@CaptainKwan4750 you mean with John as in his last stand at Beechers Hope?

I think that would be cool but it would be awfully strange having some guy the same age as you living with your family in RDR 1.

My theory about Arthur dying with John: maybe Arthur could be working on the ranch like uncle because he is heartbroken about Mary and the gang and John gives him a home so he repays them by doing the chores and helping with Jack and it would be fitting if he died with John, the two outlaw brothers together

Arthur and sadie wouldnt work because she was still mourning the death of jake and also didnt ever show any sighns of affection towards arthur and even ifshe did Arthur wpuld probably turn it down
