Arthur would break John in half in a fist fight. I almost wanted to make that a poll too but it’s just too obvious.

Arthur. He shot a bottle with one try when Sean couldnt even shoot multiple of them with a 100 tries. And Arthur disarmed Jaime when he tried to shoot himself.

Sometimes during duels he can knock out the gun off his opponent's hands. And he eliminated Sheriff Gray before he killed Bill.

Even Sadie said to Arthur he is a better shot and gave him the sniper to cover her while going to save Abigail.

He also saved Strauss and John from Cornwall's men while they were being kept hostage.

Dead Eye Targeting makes this a hard debate, but I will say that Arthur's deadeye starts off MUCH better than John's in 1911. You start out being able to auto target, whereas that was something you had to play through at least like 3 or 4 missions to get for John in RDR1.

Overall, Arthur's deadeye just seems better, and therefore I consider Arthur to be a better shot.

@Munshi Rahat John can disarm every single opponent he duels (besides two duels during the story) and John can win more duels too. Arthur only has around 10 or less duels that he can partake in.

In RDR 1 John can spend a whole day constantly duelling and disarming every single opponent if you wish.

@Leon the Lamp42069 I personally prefer the shoot-whenever-you-want during dead eye level that John starts with rather than the mark-everything-your-crossair-touches mode that Arthur has.

Dont even get me started on the Rhoades shootout.

Micah draws both of his revolvers and his arms just automatically point in the direction of the bad guys without him even looking and he shoots them in the head with aimbot precision.

In my opinion as much of a evil bastard he may have been nobody can doubt Micah’s legendary gunslinging skills that day.

John In 1911 RDR

I like to think John wins this round by a long shot but neither ever comes close to Dutch. In RDR1 he perfectly shoots Johns binoculars from like 100+ feet away with a pistol. It’s also obvious (IMO) that he was aiming for the binoculars and not trying to kill John, as (iirc) besides for when he’s on the machine gun in his last mission, you never see him try to shoot at John with the outright intent to kill. Sorry for not really staying on topic but I feel like more people need to know just how much of a unit Dutch is.
