If Rockstar Games told us what happened in Blackwater then we'd have a bias against characters in rdr2.

And again stop ignoring the main point here; there's not enough story in a prequel to make a full game. There's no realistic wild west setting for a sequel.

From a business perspective There's nothing to make a game about.

Rdr 3 is impossible, and if Rockstar tried to make it I wouldnt play it.

You’re crazy man. Me and lots of other fans have been wanting to see the events of the Blackwater Massacre since 2010. I knew most of the gang were bad people since then too. So I really disagree. Im starting to really think you’re trolling.

I'm not trolling, there just isnt much to make a story about in between the gang's creation and the Blackwater Massacre. Also, that would have to recycle the main map for a third time which would be stale.

Uh yes there sure is. You could have said that about RDR 1 back in the day. Because before RDR 2 came out we didn’t know Arthur or most of the other main characters. We didn’t know about the Pinkertons, the ODriscolls, the Braithwaites and Greys. All of those stories and characters are completely knew to the game universe.

Even if they didn’t come up with knew stories for an RDR 3 we still have a lot of stuff that happened in the past that we haven’t seen yet that they can touch on. For example Blackwater Massacre, John Marstons daughter who passed away, the Callender brothers, the war and history between Dutch and Colm (featuring Annabelle and Colm’s brothers maybe), Jenny Kirk, how Dutch and Micah met, Heidi McCourt. The Strange Man, Etc.

I'm still not sure about the story, but would it really be exciting to explore the same map a third time?

I’m not sure what makes you think that will happen. The only part of the map that returned once was New Austin and half of West Elizabeth and I don’t know about you around 98% of my gameplay was on the new parts of the map.

New Hanover, Lemoyne, Ambarino, and every town in those states are all new to RDR 2.

If/when they make RDR 3 there might be one returning state or a piece of the old map we can explore but they’re not going to just copy and paste it like you’re implying. They never even did that to begin with.
