Id like to know where this theory came from
@Leon the Lamp42069 I think it's one of two things:
1. People trying to find continuity between Revolver and Redemption latching onto Uncle's ambiguous past to create that continuity.
2. His claim that he was called the One-Shot Kid in his youth led to speculation he has was a legendary gunslinger, and why not draw a connection to Revolver from this?
I mean, technically he could be Red Harlow, but Red Harlow would’ve grown very fucking old in about 10-19 years (As Red dead revolver takes place in the 1880’s i believe)
Rockstar confirmed that Red Dead Revolver did not take place in the same universe as the Redemption saga, so Uncle cannot be Red Harlow. Third question down.

As for what Aiden said, I agree that they’re the main reasons some people think Uncle is Red Harlow, though that doesn’t necessarily make them justified.
In response to 1. - Such continuity between Revolver and the Redemption saga is non-existent as Rockstar have confirmed it to be such. Nothing can be stronger than Rockstar’s official word. Furthermore, Uncle was born sometime in or prior to 1849; unless Revolver happens in c. 1860s, Uncle wouldn’t even be the right age.
In response to 2. - I highly doubt Uncle was called the “One Shot Kid”. During the instance in which he said it, he was bantering with Arthur and therefore probably wasn’t being serious. What’s more, he’s known to have been a petty criminal, and if so, it wouldn’t make sense that he’d be some legendary gunslinger.
That said, he is shown with a pretty nice Schofield in the early chapters.
I just don’t think so. His hand should have the Scorpion emblem burned on to it from the revolver
“””””After finding his deceased father and mother, Red is soon confronted by their killer and the bandits' leader, Daren. As Daren mocks the deceased Nate, the young Red grabs his father's revolver - engulfed with flames - and shoots Daren's left arm, severing it; the molten metal of the revolver would scar Red's right hand-palm.“””””
Thats from Red Harlow’s wiki.
I dont think there is any sign of that scarring in RDR 1 and 2.
Some very convincing arguments in opposition to the theory on this thread but let me pose a single counter-argument in the form of an image:
As you can see, the resemblance is striking, if not identical.
In all seriousness though, setting aside the separate universe point, their respective ages don't even line up. Uncle seems quite a bit older than what Harlow would even be by the events of RDR 2.
I have to say Uncle does look like an older and fatter Red Harlow and we have no idea what happens with Red after the Revolver game. It could be anything.
But I don’t think he’s Uncle.
The developers may have joked around with the idea but I don’t think it’s canon at all.
Does he have the scar? No. He isn’t.
What do you think?
