@Mello1025 As Wag so perfectly explained, her transition from weeping widow to over the top gun blazer who "could wield a gun as well as other members of the gang with relatively limited experience in using one" is unrealistic and has mary sue written all over it.

Not the mention her whole storyline, her husband dies and now shes suddenly hell bent on revenge, is kind of typical imo.

So is she a Mary Sue or not?

@JeremiahE98 that wasn’t the point. She’s a Mary-Sue. Her personality, background and overall abilities are things that Mary-Sue‘s do. Sure, Arthur and John can do shit as well, but that’s because they are the characters we play as.

Not to mention, Arthur and John are seasoned outlaws who have been wielding guns against lawmen and other outlaws for over a decade. Sadie just worked on a farm.

How do you know she didn't learn to kill, before the game begins? She fights, because she feels she has to. Makes sense, considering her own husband died. She wants revenge. Wouldn't anyone? What, you think she'd just say, "Eh", and move on?

@Catcher Wongus Again, you didn't actually answer what I said. YOU explain how that makes no sense. She is already trained to use a gun, by her husband. With revenge being her prime motive, she would train and hone her skills, in order to succeed.

Honestly, I don't care about the Sadie Mary Sue anymore. I'm done with this.

@JeremiahE98 Here’s an explanation: John and Arthur have been outlaws for many years and used to death and killing, Sadie however lived on a farm and only start to kill in chapter 3. Then by chapter 6, she is now a full gunslinger which has only been a weeks or a couple of months at the most since the burning of her house.

Also if she live on a farm, what things did she shoot? There were certainly not lot of people and the only thing she could shoot are animals which doesn’t correlate with killing people.

One last thing is that if she was so tough as a farm hand. Why she couldn’t kill the o’Driscoll in her house. She did it later with just a knife in Shady Belle.
