While playing as Arthur Morgan, you’ll always be shot on sight while south of Big Valley, a lot of the time lawmen will appear (spawn) out of nowhere. The invisible sniper will always shoot you if you travel too far south into West Elizabeth, or even into New Austin.

After my first play through, I would try to see how long I could survive in Blackwater/West Elizabeth without dying. It’s fun but they’ll always get you eventually!

If you do the snake oil salesman bounty you should be able to go anywhere as long as it's not to close to blackwater or new Austin or do the Angelo Bronte, a man of honor you can't go into new Austin but anywhere else should work

Try going across the river instead of taking the road to get to Javier. It should work that way.

Wait for the patrols along the border to turn around and face west, then you should follow the shoreline and cross where the river shallows out. If you gun it straight to the mission start you'll make it. If you're too slow a team of pursuers will spawn in out of thin air right on top of you.

Or you can do the sin one with sanson when you put him on the the back of Arthur's horse an can go anywhere except blackwater or new Austin but for Javier just go either across the river or train bridge and over the hills either will do cause no patrols. Tip, at the end of the actual mission shoot the rope that's hanging sean and get out fast after the mission is over
