@Finley4711 I hoped that Arthur could end up with either Charlotte or Sadie Adler, i think that Mary-Beth loved Arthur as a older brother, she was romanticaly involved with Kieran but sadly their relationship was cut short after the O'Driscolls brutally Killed him in Chapter 4 as for Mary Linton they allready tryed to reconcile their relationship but it did not work out well in the end mainly because of Arthur's Way of life and that Mary was allready getting married after they broke up if i remember corretly.

Yep, it would make sense that Charles would give Arthur a proper burial, since he was such a decently natured person. And on the relationship bit, I think Mary should have gone off with Arthur. She kind of used him and treated Arthur poorly in this series. Like fine if she's still interested and willing to commit to him, but if not, she really has no right asking him to do all that crap for her. She must know it's breaking his heart just to see her, let alone do all that for her, only to end up with nothing for his time and effort.

Was she really not running off with Arthur because of what her father said about him? Her father was a real waste of space, so that can't be it alone. She must have felt she was too good for him and still used Arthur like a tool for all her dirty work. She was just completely out of order to do all that to him, in my personal opinion. To put it in modern lingo, she friend-zoned Arthur, and kept him as her little errand-boy.

My thought on Arthur and Mary's relationship that they met when they were 8-10. Became best friends then when Lyle (Arthur's father) died and he was sent off to an orphanage their friendship ended .ti'll one day i'm gonna assume was not to long after he joined the gang (i'd say a year or two. They fell deep in love. But when her families pressure to not marry Arthur. She started to feel to high for Arthur. Then she had a secret relationship with Barry Linton. Told Arthur about it got married. But when they meet up again she makes Arthur her with her Family and its apparent she still does to kinda feel to high for Arthur by the stuff she says. But when Arthur says he will run away the bank robbery fails she sent a letter to him while he was in guarma. But she gets tired of waiting after all the work he did.
