Sadie without any doubts Mary Beth was like a little sister to Arthur much like Tilly and Karen while Susan was like a surrogate mother to Arthur. The only woman in the gang that Arthur had an affair in the past was Abigail but even so it was briefly

I agree with mr spacehead, it’s good the way it is.

Although there was some cut content/dialogue between Arthur and Abigail, it was cut out because the writers felt it didn’t work. How you speculate that is anyone’s guess but the journal passage certainly points that there was something between them once upon a time, and the way Arthur is with John in the beginning because of John’s year long absence, which is understandable, but anyway I reckon that maybe something was supposed to have happened between Abigail and Arthur whilst John was off galavanting for a year, but the dialogue was eventually cut.

@Linus Spacehead it doesn’t really have to be the point of the game though. Just something fun to think about. Even if it was part of the game, it would obviously most likely be side quests
