If you want to play only offline, PC is best choice.
But if you do online, PS4 is better
because, there are many cheater in PC.
But playing RDR2 in PC costs high😢
In my opinion, PS4 pro or PS5 is good choice
^^The only difference (I can see) between the Series X and the PS5 for Red Dead, are resolution and loading times, both of which the Series X does better. (ie. higher resolution, and faster loading screens).
So :
PC
Series X
PS5

Didn't someone write an article saying the PS5 runs most games better since there are some streaming issues with the Xbox SSD? But you're right, the Xbox has higher resolution since the PS5 runs the game at PS4 Pro resolution (1920*2160) while the Xbox Series X runs it at Xbox One X resolution (Native 4K or 3840*2160)
I play on Xbox one and PS4 but I think PS4 is best but I don’t know about PS5
Next gen consoles as they have features that most pcs don’t and for that reason both next gen consoles
I hate to be the barer of bad news but pc is miles and miles ahead of consoles including next gen right now the 3080 is out for pc and is sold out all over. Pc can also be modified and parts replaced so I don’t need to buy pc 2 or pc 3 just upgrade. Also I know this is a strange concept but on pc no gaming company has a monopoly over me I can buy games from multiple platforms and cheaper because competition. On consoles you buy you’re games from one source. The saddest part for me is watching people pay to access services from there own internet they pay for Xbox gold ps plus is a joke.
Yeah I agree PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold is an absolute scam.
I have a pic and a Xbox series x and for red dead the consoles are better
@Joelestel But if you had an 8k rtx 3080 pc you could mod RDR2 to look way better, you can get mods that makes the horses look better, the guns, the wood quality, character models etc you can improve anything with mods. Also a huge difference; the Xbox series X currently runs RDR2 at 30FPS and PC can run it over 60 fps which is huge. Now you should understand. This is coming from a guy that has played all my games on the Original Xbox One ever since it came out and has never got an upgrade for it.
@Escapade Only not everyone can afford a PC powerful enough to play big games like that. Xbox Live gold is good for getting deals, and Game Pass is good for those who can't always buy games. Not to mention Rockstar is kinda slow about getting games to PC.
So graphically, resolution, fps etc. PC is better, and if you can afford it power to ya, but next gen consoles are very good for those who can afford them, but don't wanna drop anywhere between $500-$3,000 on a computer alone. After the computer you have to buy a monitor (about $50-$150). Then 3080 you just mentioned that costs $1000+. And a gaming keyboard and mouse, which can cost up to $70. Then, you actually have to buy the games ($30-$60).
"Pc can also be modified and parts replaced so I don’t need to buy pc 2 or pc 3 just upgrade"
Well the cost of replacing parts is about the same or more as it costs to buy whole a console.
The cost of a next gen console is $500, it comes with a controller and mine came with a free 2 weeks of game pass. Then I just have to pay for games ($30-$60). Then wait 7 years to have to drop money like that again.
What do you think?
