@Benjy987 Oh really why would he then go and kill Arthur in cold blood after he said he was a rat and then jump on him he was shooting the agents
Personally, I love Micah. Not because of what he did, but because he's a great villian and character.
Micah himself was shooting the agents. Once the camp was overrun Micah had no affiliation with the agents as he probably only dealt with Milton. He still went on to be an outlaw after all. Money is all he cared about, not loyalty.
Like I said, I don’t believe it but other than Miltons statement it’s never really confirmed, micahs reply was “I’m a survivor, black lung, a survivor! That’s all there is, living or dying.”
The explanation could be few and far between. Maybe he was just planning on handing over Dutch to Milton after the train robbery. Or maybe he was feeding information. At the end of the day, the train robberies after Leviticus cornwalls were set on by agents, probably not because of a rat but because security would of been heightened on anything with big cargo and in the areas where they knew the gang was operating.
He was only out for himself, and in the end he probably seen that Dutch was his best way to get money.
My personal opinion is that he was talking to Milton about handing over Dutch to get his name cleared so he could run away with the money. But Arthur, Sadie and Abigail put a stop to that by killing Milton, so in the end had to choose to run away with Dutch and the money.
Basically Milton was probably trying to do to Micah, what agent Ross did to John, used him to take down the gang
^^ While I believe Micah was a rat, I don’t think he was as loyal to the Pinkertons as many people believe. Fans are quick to recall his lack of loyalty to the Van der Linde gang but, imo, forget that he has no reason to be that loyal to the Pinkertons either. He basically betrays them in the end as well, as he runs away, doesn’t give them Dutch, and simply brings his outlaw activities to a higher level still. Micah is loyal to no one but himself - he’s only interested in the Pinkertons if it means guaranteeing his survival in the midst of the gang’s collapse. After they’ve more or less done that for him, they aren’t so useful to Micah anymore.
I also agree with Benjy’s comment in that heightened Pinkerton attention to the gang generally throughout the story was not because of Micah’s, but because the gang were becoming more violent and infamous, plus Cornwall was funding them to pursue the outlaws. Micah doesn’t have anything to do with that. In fact, he seems to want Dutch alive a strong he knows where the Blackwater money is, so when he did defect to the Pinkertons, he may not have intended to play fair in the first place. As Benjy points out as well, Micah shoots Pinkertons whenever he encounters them.
I like Micah, his personality, outlaw spirit, gunslinger-like skills and what he brings to the story, so he’s my favourite character in the game (I am one of the Micah fans Benjy mentioned earlier). I like all the other gang members on this list, so it’s a hard call, but I’d say Sean may be my least favourite, but it’s close. Charles and Lenny are my next favourites there.
I don't like van der linde
This question needs to be asked without Micah no shit I’m gonna choose Micah.
Micah, for obvious reasons
I would say Bill bc I hate Micah, but at least he’s smart in some way and good at fighting, and I think he’s definitely a better antagonist. I think they’re both racist (and I think also might be sexist and more) which of course isn’t surprising, and it gives me more of a reason to hate them especially Bill bc I already don’t see much of a reason to like him or his character for me lol
Imagine hating either Sean or Lenny
Javier was just boring and a prick
What do you think?
