Couldn’t agree more. Javier all the way to the end held blind loyalty for Dutch and that ended up being the reason for his demise. Despite the gang crumbling around him and people leaving, he’s completely dismissive of the fact that Dutch went completely insane, and Micah manipulated Dutch into that insanity, watching the people he called family die all around him. And you make a good point, he pointed his gun to the air, because to him, Arthur and John were his brothers. He was loyal to Dutch, not Micah, contrary to what most people believe to have happened in the end. I always spare him in the end of RDR1, I don’t have the heart to kill him.

I killed him once. Now I decided not to. I realized he 𝙉𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍 pointed his gun at Arthur or John at the end of chapter 6 in RDR2. I respect Javier

Javier was so humble in RDR2, then he turned into a huge douchebag in RDR1. I killed him, because I had to get it done.
