Hey cowpokes! Have any of you ever felt that games like Red Dead Redemption can be just as great, if not better, educational experiences than school? For those of you who love Red Dead Redemption, and especially for those of you who love history as well, I just wrote an article on Medium on "The History Within Red Dead Redemption", in which I discuss how these games can be amazing educational experiences. I know I've learned a lot of history from these games! I hope you'll give it a read and let me know your thoughts; I intend to publish many more, so your feedback would be great! @Master Strategist Given Inappropriate content is removed, an education edition of the game could be made, kind of like Minecraft education edition.

Absolutely! The newer Assassin's Creed games have "Discovery Mode" modes in which the player can freely roam the open world and be educated about the historical setting; that in Red Dead Redemption (and 2), with regard to the Mexican Revolution, the real "Old West", cattle ranching, etc. would be a great tool!

That's pretty good work. I sure hope he makes a mention of tuberculosis in Part Two.
