I mean, I feel really bad for Javier because he was a good person at 1899, as Arthur says "probably he was the most loyal person to the gang". I just feel sorry for him.
Javier's not a good dude. None of them really are. He has redeeming qualities, like they all do. But, ultimately, the gang leads a predatory lifestyle. None of them are really good people. Arthur's whole arc is him slowly becoming fully aware of what an awful person he's been his whole life and trying to make what amends he can before the end.
@Jesup Colt you are right about that but I think he was a likeable person at rdr2. Or, until Chapter 5, after Guarma all he has done was saying that they has to trust Dutch.
I wasn't saying he wasn't likeable. As I said, all of them have redeeming qualities. I love Arthur, and John is one of my favorite characters in any game. But, that doesn't change the fact that they're all bad people that have profited from leading a predatory lifestyle.
