Self Loading Repeater
Self loading rifle, appropriate for John's era, but the semi auto shotgun exist in Arthur's time
Assuming the Maxim gun exist in 1899, it may be feasible for a semi auto rifle to exist
Lever action rifle
Very popular during the frontiers, this rifle can chamber the venerable .45-70 to the then brand new .30-30 winchester.
The weapon will deal similar damage to the Lichfield repeater with express ammo, and have the effective range of the bolt action rifle
It would be interesting to see it in the game
Lightning repeater
A pump action repeater that offers the same damage and capacity as the Lancaster repeater with faster fire rate
It has the same damage and range as the Lancaster but with faster fire rate at the cost slightly less accuracy
Ross rifle
A Canadian straight pull bolt action rifle, it is very accurate and excels in long range shooting
The damage is similar to the rifle, and the range is slightly further than the trapdoor with high velocity and improved rifling.
To balance it out, the cost will be around $1000 and it easily gets dirty, like the real counterpart
Mühlberg armor piercing rifle
Originally added in Red Dead 1, this rifle boast one shot kill anywhere but the limbs, up to 200 meters. It has huge material penetration and can kill every creature with one shot. Sadly it is single shot only, so make every bullet count
The maximum range is 500 meters, and it is a sniper rifle outfitted with a scope. Similar to the Elephant Rifle in terms or recoil, and the huge size reduces mobility like carrying an animal while walking. Cannot be used on horseback
The ammo is called .50 caliber ammo and it is crafted using explosive rounds with nitro express ammo, or bough for 20 dollars for 5 bullets. Maxim ammo is 20
Crossbow
Essentially it is a bow, but must be cocked back to fire. The damage dropoff is similar to the bow and it is far more accurate than the bow
Like guns, it will degrade over time and needs cleaning
