I don't know if he is but it's a fun idea to believe like santa so I say yes. It's a funnier and cooler story than "Red Harlow went and fucked off never to be seen again and Uncle is a random drunk". Some people need to take the stick out of their ass

Red Harlow is a legend in RDRedemption, because he's from a separated 3D universe, those are plain facts. I don't get the why people have a problem with fans who actually do research instead of believing in pointless headcanons.

Yeah, Red is a fictional character in the Redemption universe, because in a random campfire convo, the camper says something along the lines of:

"My friend used to tell me stories about Red Harlow"

But it is fun to think that Uncle used to be a badass and not just some drunken old man.

Thinking that is fine, just do it without us knowing because it completely ruins the character xd.

I understand it's not real but it's fun to believe not everything has to be black and white
