She’s still far more moral than Micah…
Micah, duh? He's the only cool character.
This is a stupid ass question
It's really not
Micah Bell because he’s totally BA. He and Leopold Strauss also have it right. Who cares about loyalty and altruism? They’re outlaws. It’s about making money!
^You’ve clearly missed the whole point of the story. It’s called REDEMPTION for a reason.
I prefer to call it Rootin Tootin Cowboy Shootin or RTCS for short. :P
Also @RushW the whole point of the story is that it’s about the Wild West. LMAO. :P
^Mmm not so much. The Wild West is the backdrop, but a consistent theme in the story is that the Wild West is rapidly vanishing, and the lawless lifestyles of the frontier cowboys are coming to an end. At first Arthur is upset about this, and adheres to Dutch’s delusional notions about freedom. But through the story Arthur begins to realize that Dutch is wrong, and in his heart really only cares about himself. He turns out not to be a Robin Hood, and is just a true outlaw after all. Arthur ultimately rejects this and the gangster way of life. He goes on to do what he can to help save the people he cares about. He’s redeemed.
Just saying it is “Wild West” is too simplistic and doesn’t do justice to the brilliant story—the ultimate message of which is goodness triumphs over evil in the end.
So yeah you can definitely in the game go around doing horrible things. But if that’s all you ever do, you’re kind of missing the point of the game.
@RushW Uh, you realize that whether or not it’s a brilliant story is subjective right? I mean, I think it’s a great story too but saying that a simplistic theme “doesn’t do it justice” and speaking of it being a brilliant story as if it were fact rather than opinion falls under the logical fallacy of appealing to popular opinion.
What do you think?
