Cleet is annoying on the spot, obviously, but long-term effect it's Edgar Ross for sure
Milton for murdering Hosea
I hate Ross more than Micah, if I'm being honest. Micah's obviously a very dirty and horrible person, but Ross is much worse because he's actually part of the law, yet he is corrupt, racist, a hypocrite, and betrays Marston even after he held up his end of the deal. I get that Marston wasn't a saint, but he gave Ross what he wanted in return for his family.
I actually wonder if Marston himself was always meant to be killed, along with Williamson, Escuella and van der Linde, and Ross was just simply following orders by Nate Johns (who was the one that wanted to clean up West Elizabeth, and I guess New Austin too, of outlaws), or if Marston was never intended to be a target, and Ross betrays him anyway for personal glory. If it's the former, then Ross isn't too bad and I put more of the blame on Johns. If the latter, then Ross is a genuine scumbag (we knew this already though) and no worse than the outlaws he employed Marston to hunt down.
I hate De Santa, but most of my hate for him is directed towards Coronel Allende because De Santa's actions and decisions seem to be more based off his loyalty to the Coronel (kind of like how Javier did things out of loyalty to Dutch) than him acting on his own word. De Santa is still an asshole, but I don't think he was always one. Also, the fact that he was reluctant to betray Marston and have him executed when the Coronel gave him that order, gave me a little bit of respect for him. He still went and tried to have Marston executed, but the fact that he was actually unwilling to do it at first until he was pushed by the Coronel made me think that De Santa actually had respect for Marston, and really didn't want to betray him. It makes me wonder if De Santa only betrayed Marston because the Coronel was pushing him to do it. I'm curious what would have happened if De Santa realized of his blind loyalty to the Coronel, and saw him for the tyrant he is. I like to think that he would have tried to help Marston find Escuella and Williamson (though this is assuming that De Santa didn't know that they were in hiding and protected by the Coronel, which I think is a possibility).
Micah is my favorite character so i don't hate him. i think cleet is the worst. an annoying kid that robs you. at least the rest of the people on this list have their own unique qualities that i enjoy.
I've never had a strong urge to shoot a kid until I met Cleet.
I think we can mostly agree that Cleet is not the worst, but still the most easy to hate.
What do you think?
