Not RDR2 but I don't hate Captain de Santa whatsoever. I've explained my reasons in another post though

Milton I always looked at as a guy doing his job and his job happens to oppose the gang but I never looked at him with a like personal hatred.

I also don't hate him at all and he was the best character in RDR1. His missions were a lot of fun and he was way more entertaining than the Rebels. I hate Allende and Espinoza but de Santa really is the reason why I wanted to side with the army. Speaking of hate; Reyes is my most hated character in the RDR universe! He manipulated his people and became the same bastard as Allende and apart from freeing John out of De Santa's hands, Reyes never was a likeable guy during his missions.
