I think RDR1 is after RDR2, and the rest is in a different universe
The official timeline.
Unpopular opinion here but I think Red Dead Revolver is part of the same universe. Therefore I would explain it:
Revolver, then Redemption 2, then Redemption.
If they make an RDR3 then I think it’ll be in between Revolver and RDR2.
