The Angelo Bronte glitch HAS NOT been patched. Every page with a New Austin-only item seems to claim that it was patched. It WAS NOT. You can no longer collect herbs or find fossils, but the glitch still completely works in the current build of the game.

@Veroxzes when playing the mission ‘Angelo Bronte, man of honor’ it is possible to leave the cemetery and ride to new Austin as Arthur where you won’t be perused by bounty hunters or especially that one shot sniper.

They only patched the free roam one and that was back in 2019. You can still go to New Austin during the "Angelo Bronte, A Man Of Honor" as long as you let the law see you inside the cemetery. If they see you again the mission will even allow you to camp and you can set up one, sleep and advance time. You can even leave John at the manor by letting him ride to the gate and head to New Austin without him so he doesn't get in the way.

Keep in mind that Herbs, Dinosaur Bones, Hideouts & Legendary Animals don't spawn during missions.
