There’s a lot of RDR3 posts, so I’m gonna add some spice to this bowl and talk about something different.
What’s your favorite stranger mission? It can be in either RDR game. I love the stranger missions; most have no connection to the story yet are still fun things to keep you playing. Some of my favorite stranger missions include:
-Veteran Hamish: This is my personal favorite stranger mission, and it makes it into my top 10 favorite RDRII missions. I was genuinely sad when Hamish died, and Buell is just amazing. The missions are nice and calming, and got me to explore the absolute beauty that is the Grizzlies East.
-Brother Dorkins Missions: Don’t exactly know the names of these missions, but I didn’t really care for them at first. What really makes these missions amazing is how it leads to Arthur’s redemption, and that last scene in “The Fine Art of Conversation” with Sister Calderon. I am not an emotional man, but goddamn, that scene brought me to tears.
-The Noblest of Men, and Women: This mission took a while for me to complete at first, but the gunslingers were very interesting. I like how it took you all around the map and encouraged exploration. My favorite had to be Black Belle’s encounter, though.
HONORABLE MENTION: Strange Man missions in RDR1. I have never played RDR1 (wish it was available on PS5 T-T), but I’ve seen clips, and the Strange Man missions seem very interesting and mysterious.
