Y’all can have your opinions for RDR3, but I honestly don’t get those who say Jack joins the mafia with Al Capone in it for some reason (??) after killing Ross.

Who tf is al capone?

I’d prefer Jack only because I feel like they did him dirty at the end of rdr1. He has no family, nobody, and killing Edgar just reminds him worse of everybody he used to have.

I feel like the Van Der Linde gang is just done. We had the sequel and prequel. With the launch of RDR2, we finally got to know the gang life John kept mentioning in Rdr1 and with Rdr1, we got to know what happened after the gang disbanded. And with those two games alone, the story around the Van Der Linde gang is completed. There's a saying that you cannot keep on forever extracting the juice of the same fruit.

I think RDR3 should be the last Red Dead about the Van Der Linde gang, which would talk about when the gang only had 3 members: Dutch, Hosea and Arthur and would last until the events at Blackwater in 1899, and for free-mode you would be in 1914, a little before Abigail's death, so we could know how she died.
