I have no idea. I never thought about it before, but now I am going to research this. I just wish Kieran didn’t die the way he did. He deserved much better, and I think most of his death was Dutch’s fault.
His last appearance was the night of Jack's return. He is hanging around in the background while everyone else is celebrating and if approached by Arthur, Arthur questions why he's skulking around as usual and Kieran says something along the lines of this being a moment for the rest of the gang and not him. That's the last time you'll ever see him alive.
