This is a pretty religious topic, but as a Catholic, I’m taught that people can be forgiven by God no matter how bad their sins are if they choose to repent and try and find redemption. Arthur has done a lot of bad things, but as we see in his high honor run (which I believe to be the canon run), he tried his best to do good. He did kill a lot of people, but he didn’t do it in cold blood. I’d hope he’d have a chance.
If we’re going by Christian rules, it doesn’t matter how good he was, he never repented, so he went to hell.
I don’t want to drag this out into an argument or debate about religion, so this will be my last reply, but Arthur does not have to repent to a priest to be forgiven. If he seeks forgiveness in God or through redemption, the doors to heaven are open— no priest necessary.
I mean, the games called Red Dead REDEMPTION. and he redeemed himself in the end.
I personally don't think robbers, murderers and criminals go to heaven, as much as I'd want Arthur and want him to find peace i don't think he made it
Jesus was crucified with two criminals and according to him, they was allowed entrance. I guess it depends on what form of Christianity you're taught. But most forms I know allow entrance if you redeem yourself. Arthur not only redeemed himself with John and his family, but helped the reverend, and the church in Saint Denis multiple times. Arthur wasn't a bad person, like say Micah or Dutch. He was used and manipulated all of his life
Ik not Christian lol but who said those criminals got in? The cheese guy? Idk
Jesus literally did. I'm not even a Christian and I know that.
Dead guy: yeah man those two got in
A quick google search will save you from looking like a dumbass
