Yall remember in 2016 when we saw that early version of the RDR2 map? I remember being pissed because they added Blackwater and Manzanita post but not New Austin. Well they quickly added in New Austin and we kinda got a half-assed version of it. My theory is that New Austin, Nuevo Paraiso, and Guarma were supposed to have a much bigger role in the story. What I think would happen is that after the Saint Denis bank job went wrong John wouldn't have gotten captured but Lenny and Hosea would have still gotten killed. The group would find their way back to Shady Belle and gather up the gang. They probably hired a boat and sailed to Guarma because that was all they could afford to go to. Dutch would have tried to pull off a heist there to get to Tahiti or Australia. Anyways Guarma would have been a much longer chapter and have side missions. My guess is that the Gang attempts to pull of a heist there and get to Tahiti. The job doesn't go well and they only have enough money to go into Mexico. This is were chapter 6 would happen and their would be a bunch of stuff to do in Mexico. They probably have to move and decide to go north into the states and into New Austin and set up camp and have a chapter 7. Arthur's TB would have been less severe due to the dry climates letting him live longer. Anyways they have to move again and go into Beaver Hollow where the rest of the game would have been the same except for it being called chapter 8. John would have been able to travel back to Guarma in the epilogue and been to Mexico but it didn't line up with RDR1's story and they scrapped it all together. giving us a shitty New Austin and a tiny stay in Guarma.
