Murfrees at least give a warning and are territorial, like when they bushwhacked Arthur. But they let him go with a threat. And they stay in their area. Skinners move around and seem to genuinely enjoy what they do to people.
Murfrees feel like a PG-13 version of the rated 18 or rated R skinner brothers, I mean holy shit they scalped and shot a guy and left him to die, he would've probably lasted a day or two before he died but they shot an arrow into him, the skinner brothers are the shock content of Rd2 and the murfree brood is the surprising content of rd2
