I like certain aspects of Micah, not Micah proper. Another unpopular opinion, I think if things had been different than Micah and Arthur could have been good friends. They're so different but so alike at the same time and they bicker back and forth like a married couple, but together they make sense. I don't know how else to describe it.

I actually like him, too. I wish we saw more of him because in my opinion- nobody is irredeemable, yet Rockstar deliberately only shows bad points of him to make him hatable. It’s almost like hand holding. “You shouldn't like this guy.” I don’t think that’s good writing, as far as villains go, he’s really menacing, but not well written, and I think we need to admit that.

The same way Micah haters have to admit that, canonically, there were times when Arthur ate stew and laughed around a campfire with Micah, and Micah taught Jack something during his 6 months with the gang.

Human beings are complex animals, and so is Micah. We just aren’t SHOWN many good points to him, if any, and I don’t like that about RDR2.
