I don't know what people find so scary about Tall Trees in RDR2...the Skinners may be annoying but the scenery of the entire forest is so beautiful and relaxing. I've spent so much time just chilling near Aurora Basin to just admire the beauty of the game.

But holy crap, when I enter Tall Trees in RDR1, I'm either dying or getting out with 50 heart attacks! The stealthy bears are the most terrifying bastards of all time, it's always dark and foggy, you feel lonely and watched at the same time, and the themes of Manzanita Post and Cochinay give me goosebumps all the time. The only good thing is, that you'll be rich if you survive a hunting session there...

Both have their merits, and both have their frights, but I’d say the first one over the second, mainly because of the bears. Despite this, I’d kill for a better Manzanita Post or a Cochinay in the second game.

Think I’ve killed seven bears in RDR1 on one excursion, thought it was safe and then eaten by a sneaky eighth. Can’t tell you how many times just chillin to only be interrupted by the sound of one charging me lol
