I'm wondering if the bolt action or rolling block rifles are better in rdr2, preferably without the scope. What do you guys think?

I don’t think you can shoot the rolling block without the scope. I prefer the bolt action since it’s toggleable and great in combat.
Depends on what you're doing. Rolling Block Rifle is very good for hunting down big animals and PVP. Bolt Action is designed for big range and quick action combat mission and silent kills. Rolling Block Rifle for the hunting is more suited.
Bolt Action because it was made to the fight the Dinosaurs and the Homosexuals that’s an line from Mean Girls
Bolt action rifle, five shot before a reload instead of shoot then load
I'd take a 5 round infantry rifle over a single shot sharps rifle. I always take the Remmy out for hunting but whenever it's a gunfight I'd like a Krag, just having that second shot only a bolt rack away is a lifesaver compared to fiddling with a breach loader mid firefight.
@Dax Truman Yeah, I’d use a 30-30 for hunting, but in a strange situation where I was in combat, I’d want a semi automatic or something with a magazine. So given what rdr2 has you doing most of the time, I’d go with the bolt action. Just with the caliber, and the five shots, it might be the best combat weapon in the game.
@TheBandit025Nega You’re thinking of a shotgun, don’t ask how I know that.
Thanks guys, this will help a lot in my sniper rifle only run
Let us know how that goes
Will do @KnightofNirn
Ok I think bolt action kind of ruined the theme of Wild West. Definitely rolling block also it’s more accurate
What do you think?
