(Contains spoilers) This is actually an interesting idea, if Micah were gone, the gang likely would have continued, but if Strauss’s missions went there, Arthur likely would have survived. Now in theory if Arthur survived, Micah would have been killed by him, but this would be after Dutch decided to “betray” John and Arthur, so the gang still would have likely fallen apart, but Arthur as a individual would have continued, likely staying with John on their farm at Beecher hope since they were essentially family. If Micah never joined the gang entirely, they probably would have never been led to their demise. It really just depends who you want to survive more, the bond of the gang or Arthur Morgan. My question is, what if Hosea survived? Then Micah never would have taken his place as Dutch’s advisor, and the gang might have continued, then when Arthur found out about Micah working with the Pinkertons, Dutch likely would have sided with Arthur and therefore the rest of the gang would have as well. Micah would have died (so would Arthur I guess) and the gang would probably survive. Idk though, I’m just spitballing here.
