Who do you guys think would win that?
Both famed gunslingers, both of their tales are thought to be exaggerated though neither of them fabricated. One of the books even has them crossing paths.

The Wild West Heroes book about Jim "Boy" Calloway (No. 132), contains a dialogue between him and Landon Ricketts that took place at a fort.
This part has 2 easter eggs at once:
1. The gun that Landon Ricketts is using in this scene is a Schofield Revolver, in RDR1 you can notice his admiration towards that gun.
2. Landon Ricketts says to Calloway a line that goes "You keep jumping from one side of the fence to the other, you might just get impaled on it", Landon Ricketts says this to John Marston in RDR1.
This was a quote from a news paper I found in Chuparosa while replaying RDR 1 as Jack. How come I haven’t heard anyone talk about his involvement with the Blackwater Massacre?!
”Landon Ricketts Dead
Another piece of the Old West died last week with news that legendary gunman Landon Ricketts passed away quietly in his sleep. Mr. Ricketts, famous for his involvement in the Backwater Massacre of 1899 and the deaths of the Butcher brothers in 1896, returned to the US three years ago after living for many years in Mexico.”
I think Landon Ricketts should be a stranger mission in rdo

How does John use dead eye in epilogue of rdr2 it don’t make sense because John learns dead eye in rdr1 from Landon Ricketts
