We all know that many of the locations in RDR2 are based on real life locations. Today I was looking for a B&B in the Greenville Mississippi area and found an old 1857 plantation house converted to a B&B, that absolutely has to be Shady Belle. Other information on this site speculates that it may be a place called Southern Oaks in then New Orleans metro area, but that place admittedly was built in the 1960's and so many details don't match. Check out "The Belmont 1857" in Wayside Mississippi. This beautiful old house is the splitting image including room arrangement, tree placement, out buildings, etc.. By the way, we are staying in the room with the ledger.
