The Veteran

I'm pretty sure you all know this horse, but for those of you who don't, I'll tell you

This is Buell, the cremello gold Dutch warmblood. He is only available during the veteran mission during chapter 6 onwards, but I always save the last mission with the veteran for the epilogue because I can't risk losing such a beautiful stallion.

He has the legendary boar saddle on his back, which is a reminder of his original owners fate.

Unfortunately I forgot to save the game after I got him. Does rdr2 save after the last Hamish mission or do I have to start over? 😭

Is it possible that Hamish Sinclair (the veteran) and Francis Sinclair (the possible time traveler) could be related?

Quick question. In the stranger side mission the Veteran Part IV after Hamish is gored by the giant boar and he dies, and John/Arthur kills the wretched beast can the player keep Hamish's hat if he picks it up? It's a nice hat. I have a funny feeling that you can't.
