Not being able to drop weapons in Red Dead 2 every time I’m in combat some scumbag NPC disarms me and I try to pick my weapon back up but I pick up the wrong one. Why can’t I just switch and drop at the same time?
REVOLVERS: Cattleman Revolver
PISTOLS: Volcanic Pistol
REPEATERS: Lancaster Repeater

It seems as though the cattleman revolver is supposed to be the “good guy” weapon while the double action is supposed the “bad guy” weapon because of their special grips. Also because the cattleman is the default weapon for Arthur and most of the “good” gang members (John, Sadie, Hosea, Lenny, Sean, and Kieran) while the double action revolver is used by two bad characters of the gang, Micah, who’s the villain of the game and Javier, who later becomes an antagonist in the first game.
Does anybody know what the definitive best gear is, and how long it would take to get it? also i just started chapter six, and would like to know if your inventory, and weapons save in the epilogue?
Started a new game recently and the case that contains the pump-action shotgun at Chez Porter can't be interacted with.
Anyone else experience this?
Mine is Volcanic Pistol, Pumpy Shotty, and Lancaster Repeater.
So I bought the shoulder one and the holster one but I don't see them on Arthur anymore do I still get the benefits?

I'll start off with the Double Action revolver I've been using since the beginning of chapter 2 in my 100% save that I began way back in October of 2018.

Mine would be the repeating carbine, the pump-action shotgun and the bolt-action rifle combined with either a Schofield revolver and a LeMat revolver or a Mauser and a M1899 or a second Mauser. I also have tried 2 sawed-off shotguns, and it was quite funny.
I really like the repeating carbine because it has a really good combination of accuracy, damage and rate of fire. The best thing about it is the fast reload speed though. It is absolutely amazing.
The thing I like about the pump-action is mainly its sheer power and its range. Also, I love its sound.
The bolt-action has the advantage of a really good fire rate and the ability to switch the scope on and off. Also, I find the mechanic really nice where you pull the bolt and reload.
The Schofield and the LeMat deal good damage, although their fire rate isn't great. I like their accuracy, especially the one of the Schofield. They look great as well.
The Mauser is great with its rate of fire. You can literally mow down enemies as they approach you. The M1899 is very similar.

What is the cannon side arm Arthur uses in the story of RDR2? In the covert he is shown wielding a Schofield revolver. But I was just wondering if anyone else would have a clue what his cannon sidearm would be?
Every gang member has their unique SideArm. What is Arthur’s and what would it look like?
