Kicked someones horse at the inn in Valentine because I wanted to hitch both of my horses and didn’t wanna be dinged for theft. This was also right after Micah’s breakout. As soon as it read “crime reported” I was already gone from town faster than the wind.
Looking back in town there were 20 lawmen that had crawled outta the woodwork and poured into the town streets lookin’ for me. I am also playing a no dead eye, no death, no auto-aim play through.

@Thspeedyasher209 The world of Red Dead Redemption world can be a bit overwhelming to some. Perhaps he is not a fan of such an immersive, open world, self-driven story based experience, and more of a fan of a consistent, linear narrative story line. Because if that is all he knows or feels about the game, I would challenge him to get on a pair of his Good n’ Relaxed sit-on-tha-cheeks-for-the-rest-of-the-night pants, saddle up for a ride, & just explore. There is ALWAYS something to discover, especially if you play with the mini map off. First-person mode is something you cannot forget as well, especially when exploring buildings. The game can be so much more than what he’s describing ... so again, it might just boil down to “it’s not for him.” And that’s ok too!!

No offence taken, and again, I appreciate your time & your concern. As for skippy, I am over & done with him. Reported his inappropriate comments, and said what I had to say. Seems they have got some issues with filtering out their impulsive non forum-appropriate commenting. I guess what I have learned is to just ignore the next reject who asks about my sexual-preferences. Here I was thinking this forum was invulnerable to whackjob drama like what happened yesterday.
Did you know that guy and his pals put up posts on the general board about me yesterday? Twice? Who does that. I mean really I’m flattered, free advertisement. Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns, and for offering up some unsolicited advice. I am, and have been here for the same reason that everyone should be here: to share with a community our video-game experiences. I will certainly take any & all advice into account. Please note that the fact of whether or not I will, or have applied for the position of Discussion Moderator is information that is currently irrelevant to the public, and is ultimately a matter pertaining to matters of my own dealing — Not the community.
I can assure you, however, that I too am in fact here to spread positive vibes, and not to take part in petty narcissistic melodrama. I do not have a problem with any one account or party, but instead a few that have consistently bread toxicity, post negativity, and have already started some serious problems for themselves. Thanks to this post, I feel confident that they will be dealt with accordingly — if not already. I am sure that it has given some sense of reassurance to the community that there are mature, topic-centric content creators with a watchful eye on all of us. I know it did for me, as yesterday got way too out of hand.
Saw things on this Wiki that make people leave communities for good. People should not have to mute their phones or unfollow topic threads just to keep the usual keyboard warriors from blowing up their notification inbox. Discussion Moderators should not have to be hired to try and help offset the influx of children who need parenting. For those who aren’t even old enough to legally play this game — please, just pretend that you are an adult. The idea is you don’t want the authorities to find out you’re underage.
Most of all, let’s just keep it wholesome.
You can manipulate the sale price of pelts & skins to be more valuable if you travel to a region where the item is rare. For example, selling a Grizzly Bear pelt in Mexico, or a valuable Snake skin in Tall Trees. There are charts available online if you want to take a look at the numbers.
