One thing that annoys me a little bit is after the last update is that now the other people in the camp will randomly tell Arthur to put on armed clothes. That itself wouldn’t be so bad, but they tell him that even when he’s in his winter clothes or the temperature in the camp is around 90°-100°. Arthur can’t get much warmer.

I commented the same theory on a YouTube video and someone replied that if it was TB, Hosea wouldn’t have made it out of the mountains and that he probably had COPD.
@JohnMarston1907 I should have meant when you ride back into camp after Sean gets killed, everyone’s comforting Abigail, but Micah’s hanging back at the fire on his own. I know Dutch tells him & Kieran to stay back as everyone else rides out to The Braithwaits.
Any birds for the taxidermist. There are animals like the bull moose and panther, but at least when you eventually come across those animals, you can see them. Those damn birds, however, you can’t see them until you either just blindly shoot them or you can find a spawn point.
Not for me. I usually try to keep him dapper in how he’s dressed. As far as his hair and beard, I go with several different styles depending on what mood I’m in. However, I usually let his hair grow long and his beard shaven after Guarma.
Speaking of foreshadowing, anyone ever noticed that when Jack was kidnapped, everyone was around Abigail trying to comfort her...except Micah. He’s just hanging back by the fire. Even when Bill found out, he and Javier came running by saying “We just found out about Jack. You need any extra guns?” I think that even Dutch was genuine in wanting to get Jack back because even in his mind, you leave kids alone.
But when you rode back into camp, Micah was just hanging back at the campfire.
I use the sawed off most of the time because it works best for me when an enemy sneaks up beside me and I have to kill them close range quickly.
I could see providing meat for Abigail to cook. I was hoping for that the first time I played the game. However, I can understand not upgrading the house because that could create the possibility of an anachronism. Some need would say “This upgrade isn’t in Red Dead Redemption 1, so why is it in 2?” Plus I think that there’s a little more life than in RDR 1 because you do a few chores around the ranch in RDR2.
The one thing I wish you could do is have Pearson make you some satchels at his shop in Rhodes. One thing I noticed is that if you don’t get all the satchels as Arthur, you can buy them from the fence at Emerald Ranch. Kinda ruins being able to hunt for the perfect pelts and getting Pearson’s “one of a kind” designs when you get them from a fence.
I would have said Hosea, Charles, & John. Hosea would be the brains, Charles would be the muscle, and John is the better shooter.

I’m playing RDR 2 through for the third time and I just noticed something that I’ve never seen before. When you go to the art gallery in the Charles Châtenay mission thread, some of the photos hanging on the wall are the same photos that you helped Albert Mason take.
Definitely Micah. He’s so easy to hate. Not a single redeeming quality about him which obviously makes the perfect villain.

It would have to be before 1899 because RDR 1 was about the final nail in the coffin of the outlaw cowboy days. (I guess you could say that RDR 2 was about the first nail in that proverbial coffin.) Plus the newspaper you buy as Jack talks about the start of World War 1. More cowboy outlaw stuff in 1914 would never work.
Now that I triggered the cutscene in Saint Denis where Hosea comes by the jail with a few bottles of booze, I’m pretty sure it’s all random and your bounty or the amount of money you have doesn’t matter. When Hosea came by, I had a $90 bounty and quite a bit of cash. (I can’t recall the exact amount, but it was over $1,000.) However, later on, I got arrested in Valentine. My cash was still over $1,000, but my bounty was at least $100. That time, I just sat in jail for a few In game days, paid a fine, and walked off.

@skilduggarymoon1: I think you were right. I just got arrested in Saint Denis and Hosea came and got the jailers drunk. I just finished the mission where you kill Angelo Bronte and I had a $95.00 bounty on my head. Thank you.
@Killroy 123: I’ve never played online, so I don’t have any levels to build up. I’ve only played the main story mode, but I’ve seen videos on YouTube where Arthur has Dutch, Hosea, Charles, etc. break him out of jail. Plus I’ve also seen a scene where Abigail bails John out of jail in Blackwater.
How do you get those cutscenes where the gang breaks you out of jail? I’ve gotten arrested in the game several times, but Arthur or John always just sits in jail & just serves their sentence.
Personally, I can’t hate any of the towns because to me, they all have their individual charm, but if I have to pick one, then probably Strawberry because it’s small, the streets are to narrow, and it seems like I’m always bumping into someone or getting stuck on the bridge that’s next to the hotel because two people won’t let the other one pass.
@Tobymcgoby, there really wasn’t a lot of content in New Austin for RDR 1. It’s been a couple of years since I last played it so my memory’s a bit hazy, but New Austin was pretty wide open in RDR 1 and since RDR2 is a prequel it makes sense that it would still be pretty wide open.
