I think the build-up and hopelessness of it made it worse for me. I miss my dad. :(
Australia's seems to be doing relatively so far, probably because the cities are so isolated, but I have trashbags for lungs and asthma as well, so I'm still being cautious.
Be safe.
I love how peaceful and green Horseshoe Overlook is. After finishing the story, I'll bring everyone but Micah back, keep the moral high and just vibe there.
Both are brutal, but the Skinners will torture you instead of straight-up killing you.
Arthur, closely followed by John, Sadie, Kieran, Seán, and Black Belle I think.
Arthur and John are both amazing protagonists, but I feel like Arthur goes through more growth and there's something more endearing about him.
He's a great foil to Arthur for sure. Just him breathing brings me ungodly amounts of rage.
You don't get to know Molly as much as Seán. She was snobbish and only really concerned with Dutch, but I do feel for her. Seán was like a deluxe JackSepticEye. He was always fun to have around.
The games are about redemption first and foremost. Arthur's redemption involves the Marstons and you get to play John for a good chunk of the story anyway, so I don't see the problem.
His father came from Scotland. There's no information on his mother besides the fact that she was a prostitute and died in childbirth.
Red Harlow had a Native American mother though.
I'm mixed. He's a delusional, manipulative narcissist who lets power and wealth go to his head, but he has a few redeeming qualities and shows remorse in the end. He's a very interesting character to me.
She'd lost many other loved ones before him, but managed to stay strong. No doubt that would've been a lot harder on her though.
Most likely she got sick imo. The tuberculosis outbreak lasted for years after 1914 and wasn't curable until around the 40s. The flu and pneumonia also killed tens of millions of people around that time.
After finishing the story, I just like bringing Sean and Reverend back, freeing Kieran and letting Micah rot in jail so I can live in peace with my boahs.
RDR1 is set right at the end of the Wild West, so another prequel or something focused on another gang would be best if anything. A sequel would go into WWI. Jack would be around the ideal age to be drafted by then but I think he'd dodge it considering his whole situation.
We still don't know that much about the Blackwater incident besides a girl being killed and everything turning bad, but I don't think that would work as a standalone story or redemption arc like the current games do...
