I think he just says that no matter what. In all of my play throughs high and low honor, he says it, so it’s not you or your decisions, it’s just Arthur and the game, I think. (My theory is that maybe he’s referring to himself as a whole. You get to control the person he becomes, but it’s already established that he’s not a great guy and needs redemption, so maybe he’s referring to his past actions. With everything R* puts detail in, it’s actually impressive, so I’d be surprised if they didn’t think of people not killing anything)

@Linus Spacehead it doesn’t really have to be the point of the game though. Just something fun to think about. Even if it was part of the game, it would obviously most likely be side quests

It doesn’t matter how long a game’s been out, you should put a warning no matter what, I don’t get that reasoning whatsoever, not everyone knows everything. Though it was dumb, it’s an easy mistake to make. I definitely recommend to not go online about a game if you don’t want spoilers, but I seriously don’t get how it could be your fault lmao it’s not that hard to put a spoiler warning.

I love them both but I may be a little biased for rdr2 bc it was the first one I played since when rdr1 came out, I was still watching nick jr lmao
Man, I loved Nastas
I loved Swanson from the beginning and I used to dislike Molly, but I played the game more and she’s easily one of my favorite characters, I love Sadie, I like Uncle, and of course I love Sean
@Shamafamafoomoo actually, I replayed the game and I love Uncle but he can be pretty rude to Charles in multiple occasions if you listen to some of their conversations and it made me dislike him a little

I don’t think most of us has seen or played it on all of them to compare lol but my guess is that it’s great on all and def shouldn’t be a competition unless you somehow have enough money for all and want to know which is best

I would say Bill bc I hate Micah, but at least he’s smart in some way and good at fighting, and I think he’s definitely a better antagonist. I think they’re both racist (and I think also might be sexist and more) which of course isn’t surprising, and it gives me more of a reason to hate them especially Bill bc I already don’t see much of a reason to like him or his character for me lol
I also skipped the side quests on my first time, so I get it bc I was also confused, but I coulda swore it said something about him being dead in the main game bc I think I knew
I just thought of it was his lungs going bad
I would love to see Sadie and/or Charles’ story with the Pinkertons after the events of rdr2 and if they found out about any deaths from rdr1 or a story about Jack’s future, the problems he bumps into, and if there’s any consequences for what he did in 1914
