Hello Chaps I’m back and better then ever, ready for some good ol’ fashion symbolism,

Now what the title is talking about is the cult you meet in RDR2 and supposedly meet in GTA5 because they have the same amulet. Or some shit, now I pose a question about the cult

Do they have a Devil? Supposedly so and he is assumed to be the time traveler from RDR2, now why do I bring him up, it’s a well known theory that he’s the cults satan right?

Well i think the satanic rituals you find, the one with the body, and the one under the shack. Actually are for him, as a symbolic way of mimicking the Christianx And Satanists within our world. Now I don’t think he’s actually Satan, I think that’s The Strange man, along with him being Death and God, at the same time in my Unholy Trinity theory. First let’s talk about the identity of the strange man, we’ll quite simply he’s God, but it’s more, way more complex then that, The Strange Man, is a Morally ambiguous God. There is no right and wrong, only what we perceive.

Now let’s talk about the events, I’ll get into a more in-depth I identity throughout this analysis. First let’s talk about his first appearance chronologically, The Cabin, in the Bayou, first the Jimmy Brooks Encounter, whether you choose to kill or spare, there will be a poem, depicting whether you killed or spared him. How could he see this if he wasn’t supernatural, no one was around.

Next The Armadillo Curse, and The Moon Deal. “I offered you happiness or 2 generations, you made your choice.” This quote is about Herbert Moon and most people believe he chose 2 generations, I do to, but here is why

Herbert is Anti Semitic, and happiness wouldn’t be to have a Jewish Father Of his grand kid, he hates Jews. But his daughter married a Jewish man, and is pregnant with the baby, so Herbert isn’t happy.

Now I think if he chose Happiness, the Jew would die, or his daughter would become infertile and his shop would prosper.

This deal, is also the one that hurt Armadillo I believe. The Cholera. And this deal is immoral, because what ever he chose, someone would suffer, either him, or the father.

That leads me into my full in-depth look of what the Strange man is.

He’s god sure, but I think it’s worse, he’s God, Satan, And Death, all in one. Rockstar’s very own Unholy Trinity, it also fits rockstar’s narrative of devaluing human life in games. The Strange man, represents what we fear most, the unknown, but powerful. So Powerful, that we the player cannot stop him, and he will leave a wake of destruction in his path. He’s a God, and I feel he was inspired by H.P Lovecraftian monsters, so powerful, so strong, the main character can’t beat them.

Now I hear a small question. Why does he look like Trelawny?

Simple, it’s clothing choice right? I don’t think so, I think he chose to look like Trelawny because Trelawny has a very trustworthy face, and kind stature. You would make a deal with Trelawny, but not the stereotypical rich man.

How does he play into rockstar’s narrative

Simple, by being so powerful, so Godly, we are mere Ants,

It explains everything, oh and I don’t think the line “I hope my son turns out like you” refers to Jesus in RDR1 I think it refers to Lucifer, the Fallen Angel, and keep in mind I said The Stranger was Satan, but that’s personality wise, Satan could still be around, I say it’s Lucifer because Angels are referred to as Sons Of God. And maybe he wants Lucifer to go on the redemption journey as John has.

I don’t think I’ve made an inconsistency, I hope you enjoyed my Analysis. Please I love spreading this thought, and I can’t wait for the next big mystery

But one thing before I go, The Strange man, is intriguing I think I might do a short series on the Stranger, with in-depth story telling, and little peaks at things. I’ll keep you posted if I ever do.

This is my last mention of the strange man, post this around, I want this idea of the strange man continued, because people think it’s simple he’s God, it’s more in-depth then that.

Now here me out guys, I am a believer that The Strange man is a Morally Grey God of Red Dead and GTA, now what I have always wondered why in the hell would they look so similar, now it could be fashion sense of fancy people, but I think it’s deeper

Let’s take Trelawny, the mustache and the top hat, and all, he looks rich, but unlike the stereotype he looks friendly, and trustworthy, like you would make a deal whether it be to good to be true, or not

What I’m referring to, is the Moon Deal, the deal with Herbert Moon, “I offered you happiness, or 2 generations, you made your choice.” I think this is a morally wrong deal

Because Herbert chose 2 Generations supposedly from the letter on his person. But it was to a Jewish father, making Herbert unhappy

Now if he chose happiness, I think what would happen is either, his daughter would have died, killing the first generation OR any man his daughter was to have a child with in the future would die, or simply she would become non fertile.

Either way, a man you can’t trust, is the man you would most likely trust, he’s testing the morals of humanity, and punishing the choices, the point

He is not a good God, he is not a bad Devil, or even Death

He is all of them, Red dead’s own Holy Trinity,

It’s a little fear thing rockstar added, to show the characters are minuscule in the grand scheme, a H.P Lovecraft type deal,

And that is the strange man, I’ll make an entire analysis in the future

Hey just wondering, what are the best animals to hunt, and just a side note um... HOW THE FUCK DO I FIX MY DAMN CONNECTION?

Now I know, RDR2 is filled with stuff, but I feel, it could use a bit more environment, since RDR and GTA are games that don’t really need ALL US HISTORY and without contradiction I mean RDR2 has a map that fits near nowhere

So here’s my proposal, in RDO it adds Gang Factions, But one mission type with these Factions is to take on gangs that lived within 1880 and 1899 because it’s not clear when RDO takes place, this way, we can have our rich historical gangs implemented

Or maybe we could have a DLC, which you have to team up with old real life Gunslingers, and rob a massive bank, with a lot of money in for it, and dangerous takes.

I just want more historical gunslingers and gangs, that’s all

Now I’m not talking about excluding the ones with good honor from the bad honor, or the bad honor from the good honor, for Stranger missions we have now, what I’m saying, is adding certain characters that would be exclusive to that honor, or even add a grey honor stranger mission

With still adding non honor based stranger missions

But adding a few honor based stranger’s here and there, could really close the gap of high honor and bad honor

Because most people have bad honor, I’d like to see close to half or at least more then what we have of the good honor.

So I have this, it has blue spots around its body as you can see, this isn’t lighting, look at the shadowed parts, even then it’s blue spots

Nigel West Dickens, the snake oil salesman of Red dead redemption 2, now this is an online mission request but like most of my shit it can work with anything.

Think about it, a Online Mission, in New Austin like Sheriff Freeman or Langton, where he has a new style of mission, The Illicit goods salesman,

Something like “illicit Selling” where you go from Tumbleweed to Armadillo, or Thieves Landing, to a group of people who believed Nigel’s claims up in west Elizabeth

If you played RDR2 you would know that in the beginning you see Davey’s dead body with 2 coins, and you learn later in chapter 2 I believe, that Mac was, in Milton’s words, “mercy killing” but we don’t know much about them, I’d love to see a DLC fro, before the story where Arthur Davey and Mac, and maybe even Jenny, go on a huge heist in the west, it would seem a fun mission, maybe even new area to explore

But something if also love to see, is Mac and Davey, as Character missions in RDR2 Online it would make the most reasonable sense to have them in that rather then a DLC but I just want to see their story built upon

I think there is perfect amount of proof to show there is a god in Red Dead, and I can even tell you who, because I believe you encounter him.

Let’s first talk about the Chelonians, I would like to first talk about this because it had a symbolic sense to it when you went to kill the cult leader, when you did so, it started raining, and thundering, which symbolizes anger and sadness. I feel this showed that the RDR God, was angry and sad for Arthur’s decisions.

Now I would like to talk about who I believe it is

I believe it is Trelawny. Many reasons, as seen in his first appearance in RDR2 Online, he turned a gun Into a bird, well you could argue that this isn’t canon, but it’s pretty damning

Let’s not forget his line in RDR1 “Do you remember Haidi Mchort’s (definitely misspelled) face?” This is strange because, Trelawny would have no knowledge of this, but if he was God, he could be all seeing, but maybe he heard it from a guy. Who knows but in that same mission, he tells you of a drunk, about to sleep with a prostitute, now who would know this, unless he foreseen it.

And in the last of the 3 missions, he says he is an accountant. Now would god not be an accountant, he accounts for sin and all,

But here is the damning evidence I have. He could not be killed when John shot at him.

Now my final piece of evidence, this is a massive spoiler.

When Arthur Dies, and you complete the epilogue (at least I did, not sure if you have too.” And head to Armadillo, head into Herbert Moon’s shop, you will find a picture, of Trelawny, looking at you, symbolizing that he is watching over you

I personally do not hold religious beliefs but, I do like the thought of Rockstar adding a little Theological Symbolic twist to the game.

He is not Trelawny but the strange man, I thought they were the same, but while Trelawny is not God he could be an Angel, but that is just a theory with no backing I’ll have to do more research for it.

But another thing came to my mind, an Easter egg near Armadillo, you can find a man talking about the town, and he says there is a man in a black coat, who looks over the city. So this furthers the god theory about THE STRANGE MAN
