Helping John makes Arthur's death more fulfilling, ik either way ur helping John, but if u go back for the money, and end up failing, its kinda useless and makes u think that u basically abandoned John midway his rescue for no reason when u could have defended him against pinkertons

Actually some missions u can, Hamish will show Arthur's accomplishments to John if he arrives in the last mission with arthur doing all else. Marko Dragic also the same.
John uses the excuse of social calls, to start the missions as he has Arthur's journal is like WTH lets just see em
