If Hosea had survived until the end of the game, do you think he would have sided with Dutch or Arthur? It seems more likely to Dutch because of his loyalty to him but Hosea was a smart character and I think he'd realise how Dutch was being an asshole and shit and he'd see that he left John to die during the train heist

He does start to exhibit many different behaviours that come from having a brain injury but I don't know maybe some of it is just from the stress of running a gang
I've heard most people say that it was Micah feeding them information, which I think is likely, but honestly, the Pinkertons knew that the gang were around Saint Denis and they'd already robbed the riverboat and trolley station, so logically the next target would be the bank. I don't know that's just my opinion

Daily Challenges are great for gold. At the start, they'll pay out 0.2 gold per daily challenge and you can get steaks to increase that amount up to half a gold bar per challenge. Another way is levelling up. Every 5 levels, you can get a treasure map from the post office and they normally give between 0.75 gold to 1.6 gold
I love Horseshoe Overlook and Clemens Point because that's before things have started to go wrong for the gang, and it's nice to see them actually be a family like Dutch always says they are. But because of everything that happens at Beaver Hollow, that would have to be my favourite. Just during that chapter, when you're playing you really get a sense that the gang is over even though some are still clinging to it.
Hogtie them and then stow them on your horse. After this, go to a shallow river and make it so they just barely can't escape. Then just watch them struggle as they drown
I just really like the look of the white Arabian although I do prefer the black one that you can buy from Saint Denis
I think it would have changed a lot. But I still think that in the end, Micah still would have ratted out the gang to the Pinkertons. It was inevitable that the gang were not going to last much longer because of how the world around them was evolving into a more civilised land, but I think with Hosea and Lenny still there, morale in camp would be a lot higher and there wouldn't have been so many internal arguments. And alongside that, Hosea was always the smartest of the Van Der Linde gang in my opinion, so I think he would have held the gang together for longer, and he could have stopped Dutch from going crazy
I think RDR2 is obviously more realistic but I also don't think Rockstar were going with realism when they were making GTA V. And I hope you enjoy playing RDR for the first time. I loved it when I played it
I honestly think Hosea would have shot Micah. He never liked him
^ I agree with that but I think that Dutch's potential brain injury still would have been a big issue. Like when he goes to get revenge on Bronte, he clearly dislikes the fact that Hosea is against his idea even though Hosea was ultimately right in that going after Bronte wasn't a good idea
I was only 8 years old when the first game came out but I still played it. I remember constantly killing my horse to skin it and then calling another one so that I could get the double barrel shotgun. In the end it was a pretty shit gun
I imagine it would be for fame. Dutch, Arthur, Hosea, Micah, Javiar, Bill and most likely more members all had bounties of at least $1000. As stated in the first chapter of the game, Colm goes for quantity over quality whereas Dutch is the opposite
Yes, for a legendary bounty mission, you get paid maybe $40, but guns cost so fucking much. Like they cost more than horses
Not including John and Arthur because they're protagonists, I'd say Dutch. He's such a complex character in my opinion, and you never know what he's going through or dealing with. Not to mention, Rockstar did an excellent job of showing his slow decent into madness after everything goes wrong in Saint Denis
I honestly don't think they should do a RDR3. They made two games which perfectly tie into each other. At this stage though, I would like another Red Dead game, just not Redemption. They would still be set in the same universe and all though. Alright this sounds stupid but this is a thought I've had for a while. Imagine a Red Dead game in which you play as Landon Ricketts in 1898 and 1899. And then like one of the last missions, you go to meet a contact in Blackwater and hear gunshots and possibly dynamite and you rush out to see what's happening and it's the Blackwater Massacre. It'll never happen but it sounds cool
With Arthur I have a white female Arabian horse which I named Scherbatsky. As John I have the big shire horse called Hosea and in online I have the Red Chestnut Arabian called Owen
In story mode yeah. There are three coats you can get in story: white, black and rose grey. The white one cannot be purchased so technically it's the cheapest. The black one costs $1050 in Saint Denis and the rose grey ome costs $1200 in Blackwater, although both of these prices can be as much as 50% off depending on Honor
They never clarify what they do to him but dialogue later in the game suggests that he was hanged
