Tahiti DLC, calm, doing chores, a man can dream
Arthur's hat up to American Venom, and then John's hat afterwards. Seems fitting that John would wear his own hat after truly choosing to leave his old life behind.

When I play RDO, I treat it kind of like a story mode, only instead of a protagonist it's a character that kind of looks like me. I don't really do any posse work, any PVP, most of the time I travel around the fringes of the map, hunting quite a lot, sell my wares, level up slowly. While RDO has very little chance of ever getting the attention it deserves, I enjoy the fact that I can go and do my own thing. When I encounter other players it is usually a peaceful one, and I only ever really attack in self defence or if they are griefing me or others. Sounds like a very boring time, but gotta make the most out of what you enjoy, right?
Was in Ambarino, my favourite area of the game as I love hunting and met someone WAY higher a level than me doing the same. No conversation, no interaction aside from they would kill an animal and I would skin, then vice versa. Did this for about 2 hours, shared an emote, then departed peacefully with our individual pelts. Best online interaction ever.
I stuck with the Kentucky Saddler as it's the first horse I had when I played RDR1 and wanted to fit the vibe of a lone cowboy and his loyal horse. Guess I set myself up for the horse bonding in RDR2 about 6 years early.
Unless you're a wizard at dodging enemy fire and assuming their travel path, the Bow isn't great in a gunfight (consider the Attack on Shady Belle as an example). However when used stealthily, there is no better feeling than a perfect headshot with the Bow.
While I voted to play RDR2 first, that was for the chronology of the story. Gameplay wise, I'd definitely play RDR1 first. Things like the hunting and overall feel of the game is more refined, even the little things like interacting with NPC's (RDR1; simple comment depending on honor but using CIRCLE/B, RDR2; full interaction, Defuse, Call Out, etc). All depends on your specific tastes as a player, IMO the series focuses on story so the faults of RDR1's older gameplay can be overlooked.
I haven't seen that but fair enough
I did, there isn't a difference for honor or story if you don't take it, other than an extra $75 at the fence
